Fees and Funding
I aim to keep fees and funding information clear so you know what to expect before deciding whether Exceptionally You is the right fit.
Children & Young People
Individual therapy — $200
50-minute session
Available in person in Shepparton or via Telehealth, depending on age, individual needs and suitability.
Parents & Carers
Parent & carer support — $200
50-minute session
Parent and carer sessions can be accessed independently — your young person does not need to be a client of Exceptionally You.
Professional Supervision
Individual supervision — $180
60-minute session
Available via Telehealth, with limited in-person appointments available in Shepparton.
Therapeutic Gaming
Individual therapeutic gaming — $200
50-minute session
Therapeutic gaming may incorporate Minecraft or other gaming-based approaches where these are appropriate to the young person's interests and therapeutic goals.
Sessions are primarily available online, with suitability discussed before commencing.
Medicare
As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, I am able to provide Medicare-rebatable mental health services.
Eligible clients may be able to receive a Medicare rebate when referred under a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan from their GP or another eligible medical practitioner.
A referral is not required to see me privately. If you are unsure whether Medicare may apply to you or your young person, you're welcome to ask when making an enquiry.
NDIS
Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants may be able to use their funding for services where the support is consistent with their plan and current NDIS funding requirements.
Please get in touch so we can discuss your circumstances and whether Exceptionally You is able to provide the support you're looking for.
Other funding
In some circumstances, therapy may be funded by another organisation or service.
If a school, support service, government agency or other organisation is considering funding sessions, please contact me to discuss this before therapy commences.
Cancellation policy
I understand that unexpected things happen. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice where possible.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may incur the full session fee.
Getting started
Therapy begins with an enquiry so we can make sure Exceptionally You is likely to be a good fit before arranging the first appointment.
You don't need a referral or a clear idea of exactly what support you need before getting in touch.
